I think that food engineering has a great impact on the world despite the fact that the career is very little known.

Day by day in this field there are problems such as: the environmental impact that occurs in the industry, the shortage of food, the displeasure among consumers, the lack of hygiene in food processes, etc.

People who are dedicated to working in this area must be very delicate in each of these complexities that arise because making mistakes in the food industry can have a great negative impact on people who daily purchase products for their consumption.

 

Despite the short time that I have been studying this career, since I began to investigate this area my idea has been to focus on food safety, that is, in the correct way that each product must be handled so that its consumption. On the other hand, the idea of ​​creating new products that can satisfy people's needs attracts my attention, for example, I would like to be able to develop large varieties of sweets that do not contain sugar or preservatives that are harmful to our body.

 

Food engineers over the years have managed to create different solutions for our diet, either in the creation of low-calorie foods as well as foods for people who do not consume animal products or people who simply cannot consume some. products due to health problems, without a doubt this race manages to have a great impact on people's lives.
